The Intersect Group Streamlines Back Office Handoff with Automated Workflows

The Intersect Group is an Atlanta-based staffing and recruiting firm with over 270 employees serving clients nationwide.  With such a large workforce, The Intersect Group wanted an approval system that would communicate approvals and placement data more efficiently between their Front and Back Office, without the need for sending multiple manual emails out.  They turned to MaxHire and an automated workflow process to meet their needs.

Even though automated workflows are a common request in many MaxHire implementations today, The Intersect Group was one of the first companies that we developed an automated workflow for.  I talked to Keith Ordan, partner at The Intersect Group to find out how the approval process they are using has helped cut down on the back and forth communication that used to happen between their Front and Back Office.

“When looking for new recruiting software we knew wanted all of our recruiting and placement data to be housed and driven through our new system.  We wanted placement information to automatically flow from the placement record to our Sales Managers and to our Back Office so onboarding tasks to be taken care of in a timely manner,” Keith told me.

With these requirements in hand, our Professional Services Team worked closely with Keith to develop the following workflow:

Keith explained that with the approval workflow, the Back Office is notified of new placements immediately so back office staff is able to get a head start on onboarding the candidates while waiting for approval from the sales manager.  Since the approval emails can be received on mobile devices and contain a link that opens a custom form in a web browser, sales managers can approve placements when they’re on the go, and without being logged into MaxHire.  The automated workflow has eliminated manual emails requesting approval and reduced duplicate data entry between the front and back office, all saving time and money.
