Aspire Conquers Commissions with TimeshEASY

Aspire, a leading professional search and staffing firm based in the Mid-Atlantic Region with a focus in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Engineering and Operations, has automated complex commission calculations for both their permanent and contract placements using timeshEASY and its integration with MaxHire.

Staffing firms are often faced with the problems of collecting time from their employees and then calculating commissions for their recruiters based on gross margins and hours worked. Many firms rely on paper timecards and Excel spreadsheets to calculate these complex commissions. Aspire has been able to overcome these challenges by using timeshEASY’s online timecards and the MaxHire integration with timeshEASY.

I sat down to talk to Dan Wagner and Jill Sasse from Aspire, to find out how they were using MaxHire and timeshEASY to automate their commission calculations. Dan, President of Aspire, let me know that because of the integration timeshEASY has developed with MaxHire, the client details, employee data and placement information such as bill, pay and burden rates are automatically pulled into Aspire’s timeshEASY account when a recruiter creates a placement record in their recruiting software.

Aspire’s employees are then able to submit their hours worked through an easy to use web-interface and managers can go in and approve the timecards after their employees have filled them out. The online timecard system eliminates any data entry that would be associated with paper timecards, prevents errors that might occur with data entry and speeds up payroll. Aspire is also able to schedule automatic email reminders to be sent out to any employees who forget to enter their time and to managers who forget to approve the hours.

The flexible and powerful commission rules available in timeshEASY has allowed Aspire to create its own commission plans and once the timecards have been approved, the commission calculations are completely automatically. In fact, timeshEASY’s commissioning module is so powerful the system can be used to calculate commissions for both contract and direct placements.
